The Chlk Lines on Privacy

CHLK LLC (“CHLK,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the CHLK app, website, and CHLK for PowerPoint (our Microsoft PowerPoint add-in).

1. Information We Collect

   We collect the following types of information:
   • Account Information: Name, email address, and login credentials.
   • Playbook Content: Plays, diagrams, and notes you create and store in CHLK.
   • Device & Usage Data: Device type, operating system, app version, and activity within the app (e.g., features used).
   • Analytics & Crash Data: App performance, error reports, and usage metrics.
   • PowerPoint Add-in Data: When you use CHLK for PowerPoint, we collect sign-in information and the playbook/play content you access or insert into PowerPoint, plus basic usage needed to run the add-in.
   

2. How We Use Information

   We use your information to:
   • Provide and improve the CHLK app.
   • Sync and store your playbooks securely.
   • Troubleshoot issues and deliver support.
   • Analyze feature usage to improve the coaching experience.We do not sell your data to third parties.
   • Authenticate you in CHLK for PowerPoint and insert your plays into Microsoft PowerPoint.

3. Sharing of Information

   We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate CHLK, such as:
   • Supabase (data storage & authentication)
   • Stripe (if you make a subscription/payment)
   • Analytics tools (to understand app performance)These providers are contractually required to protect your data.
   • If you sign in with Google or Apple in CHLK for PowerPoint, those providers process authentication data according to their own policies.

4. Data Security

   We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and security best practices to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to safeguard information.

   Your Choices:
   • You can update your account information within the app.
   • You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at info@chlkapp.com.
   

5. Children’s Privacy

   CHLK is designed for coaches and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
   

6. Changes to this Policy

   We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll notify users of significant changes via email or app notification.
